My Journal – 1

Each day we wake up, we have to thank God for blessing us with one more day to sing God’s glory and do God’s work. Performing our responsibilities unselfishly is a great worship of God.

During the day, now and then, we should remind ourselves to repeat God’s name, sing God’s glory, and do God’s work with love—and then just do it.

At night, we should take God’s name, think about the good things we did, and consider how we can improve the next day.

  1. Dear Uncle, this is so sweet and simple – yet we all need a reminder sometimes. Thanks for sharing this 🙏

    1. Dear Anindita: Thank you for comments. More and more I am finding that the truth is simple. More important is to understand it and practice it.
I was just thinking for myself and then I thought to share it with likeminded people. With best wishes.

  2. Really enjoyed reading this! It’s a great reminder for something we always take for granted. and to stay connected to a higher purpose through our actions (cf. Brahmarpanam…).. I like the idea of ending the day with some reflection and thinking about how to improve.. Simple but powerful thoughts—thanks for sharing!

  3. Thank you Uncle for this reminder. These are simple, intentional practices done regularly with faith everyday to infuse our days with spiritual thoughts. I just heard about one Pravrajika who would pause before climbing stairs and then do her japa each time when climbing the stairs to do her various chores! What you wrote resonates with that practice.

    Thank you again for sharing.
